Our Programs
Our programs are designed to fill the gaps in the nonprofit sector for domestic violence survivors BEFORE the abuse escalates to physical violence. Through emergency support, education, and community; our desire is to stabilize the survivor to get back on their feet quicker while preventing physical violence, homelessness, suicide, homocide, or economic hardship. By equiping the surivor with the information needed prior to leaving they can have a higher success rate in the legal system, manage their financial needs, and heal from the trauma.
01
Becoming Free:
Emergency Support
Provides critical case management support or financial assistance to survivors in emergency situations, helping prevent homelessness, emotional distress, and economic hardship. Stabilizing surivors to focus on long term recovery. This can be in the form of limited legal aid, safety planning, or financial assistance.
02
Becoming Enlightened:
Education & Support Initiative
This is our long term goal to develop an app that provides easier access to critical information needed during their journey. Information would be broken down in simple pillars to find resources easier. Depending on their need they can look up videos and trainings that walk them through step by step information or connect with local nonprofit partners that can assist filling a need. This app will text daily encouragement and a provide a place to connect with others. It takes the stress off of searching and makes it simple and easy to see resources available in their community.
03
Becoming Whole:
Healing Classes & Workshops
This program partners with local small businesses & nonprofits to provide healing classes, workshops, or retreats for mind, body, spirit, and soul. These workshops will engage in activities like group therapy, mindfulness, fitness, art, dance, and nature retreats designed to nurture overall well-being while building community support.
