Q: What is the mission of Becoming Grace Foundation?
A: Our mission is to provide support, resources, and empowerment to women & children overcoming abuse and trauma through financial aid, education, connection, and community programs.
Q: Who can benefit from your programs?
A: Our services are open to women & children of all backgrounds who have faced abuse.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are currently a virtual nonprofit that hosts pop up workshops or utilizes shared spaces to operate. It is fully run by volunteers who donate their time. We do not have typical hours of operation but fulfill the needs as they come.
Programs & Support
Q: What types of programs do you offer?
A: We offer a peer support text group, virtual and pop-up workshops to provide mentoring, healing, job-readiness, community and access to support networks. We also offer financial aid for immediate needs when funds are available.
Q: Do I need to pay to join a program?
A: Our services are free thanks to generous donors and community partners.
Get Involved
Q: How can I volunteer or support the foundation?
A: You can volunteer as a workshop facilitator or assist with events, start a fundraiser, host a drive or donate directly through our website. If you have a specialty skill that can assist such as law, therapists, grant writers, social workers, health instructors, etc , we will have more opportunity to volunteer! Q: Can I create a fundraiser for the foundation?
A: Absolutely. We encourage community-led fundraisers—check out the “Create a Fundraiser” section to get started.
Donations
Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Yes, we are a registered 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible in the U.S. Information that is collected when donating or registering for an event are kept secure through a secure donation platform and only utilized to keep you up to date with upcoming events or thank you letters to stay connected. We are currently working towards getting the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, but we do not have it just yet!
